cramp & pain relief elixir
i started making this potion to help deal with painful menstrual cycles and pmdd, but have found that it helps with other pains, too.
white willow bark is the star player of this formula, and what makes it so versatile. willow bark contains salicin, the herbal origin of aspirin. so, treat this tincture as you would a (mild) aspirin, especially if you take a lot of NSAIDs or are especially sensitive to them. motherwort is anti-spasmodic and can help reduce painful cramps, as can raspberry leaf, which also helps to regulate blood flow. catnip has some anti-spasmodic qualities too, and is one of my favorite nervines for relaxation. rosehips are here for their anti-inflammatory qualities, and impart a rich rose color to the medicine, which personally i find quite pleasing.
this product is not suitable for use during pregnancy.
ingredients: motherwort, red raspberry leaf, catnip, white willow bark, & rosehips in organic vegetable glycerin
