this tea was originally called “misty mountain mind,” and i created it for a specific scenario that i think is common for a lot of us: i need to get things done with my brain, and also my stomach hurts. the heady mix of mints in this blend (anise hyssop belongs to that family, too) can help with both of these challenges. mints help to calm and relax the digestive tract, and they are enlivening to the mind as well. lovely marshmallow root (one of my all-time faves) is here for hydration, and is soothing to the digestive tract. eleuthero root, also called siberian ginseng, is an adaptogen that can support the immune system and boost cognitive function the way that true ginseng does. butterfly pea flower makes it blue, like taking a dip in your favorite pond. add lemon if you wanna dip into a purple pond :)
