heartnest loose leaf tea blend
ingredients: tulsi, hawthorn, linden, motherwort, borage, orange peel, red rose petals and rosehips. naturally caffeine free.
a cardiac-supportive blend of herbs for being in relation to grief, feeling what needs to be felt, and allowing your heart to (safely) open.
in my experience, hawthorn, linden and rose can be a bit intense to work with as single herbs in difficult times, though they are also extremely helpful. i have included tulsi, borage, and motherwort in this tea to invite joy, sweetness, courage, strength to join us in the process as well. rosehips and orange peel provide vitamin c, some brightness, a pleasant pinkish color when brewed.
the blend has some bitterness, like grief. as flavors go, we tend to experience bitterness the least, but it is quite helpful for functions like digestion and nutrient absorption. if you’re not into that, honey brings out the sweetness of the tulsi (and is good for your heart, too).
